This week's Players of the Week honors go to: Michigan State junior forward Tim Crowder (Offensive), Notre Dame senior defenseman Dan VeNard (Defensive), Alaska senior goaltender Wylie Rogers (Goaltender) and Western Michigan freshman goaltender Jerry Kuhn (Rookie).

Crowder (4-0-0, +4) scored two goals and was +2 each night as the Spartans took both ends of a home-and-home series with Ferris State.

VeNard had an assist in Friday's 4-2 win at Princeton, added two goals and another assist in Saturday's 7-0 victory while anchoring a penalty-killing unit that was 8-for-9 on the weekend.

Rogers stopped 32 shots for first-star honors and helped stymie nine power plays in blanking Miami, 3-0, to shut down the nation's No. 1 team and top-rated offense.

Kuhn blocked 48-of-51 shots (.941) in backstopping the Broncos to a sweep of visiting Wayne State with 5-2 and 5-1 victories.
