This week's Players of the Week honors go to: Michigan State senior forward Bryan Lerg (Offensive), Ferris State junior defenseman Evan Case (Defensive), Michigan State junior goaltender Jeff Lerg (Goaltender) and Michigan freshman forward Max Pacioretty (Rookie).

Offensive

Bryan Lerg, MSU

Lerg opened the scoring in Friday's win at LSSU and then scored two, third-period insurance goals in Saturday's 5-2 victory over the Lakers.

Defenseman

Evan Case, FSU
Jr., (Grosse Pointe Woods, MI)

Case scored twice while launching seven shots for first-star honors in Friday's 4-0 win over WMU and added an assist with a blocked shot in Saturday's 3-2 road victory over the Broncos while recording a +1 rating each night.

Goaltender

Jeff Lerg, MSU
Jr., (Livonia, MI)

Lerg stopped 49-of-53 shots (.924) to improve his record on the season to 9-3-2 as the Spartans won twice at Lake Superior State.

Rookie

Max Pacioretty, UM
F (New Canaan, CT)

Pacioretty (2-1-3, +1) picked up an assist in Friday's loss and was first star of Saturday's 4-2 victory with two goals as the Wolverines split with visiting Ohio State.
