The CCHA selected 15 new officials to join the league for the 2005-06 season.

CCHA Commissioner Tom Anastos presented the State of the Game to the Officials in Day One of Training Camp.

Frank Cole, the director of officials for the NCAA, spoke about the upcoming season with the officials.

Miami head coach Enrico Blasi, who is also the NCAA Ice Hockey Rules Committee Chair, shared his perspective on the upcoming season.

CCHA assistant referee Kevin Langseth received a service award for his dedication to the CCHA over the past 11 years. Langseth was one of 11 officials to receive awards.

Brent Gawlik also received a service award for his commitment to the CCHA for 11 seasons.

The officials get ready to take a three-mile run through the city of Detroit.

The CCHA puts the officials through various challenging dry-land training exercises outside of Joe Louis Arena.

CCHA referee Matt Shegos led the morning run and has been an official with the league for 24 seasons.

The CCHA Training Camp includes various ice and dry-land exercises in addition to NCAA testing and presentations.

CCHA Supervisor Dave Harvey ran the on-ice portion of the ice for the rookie officials.

Eighteen officials tried out for the CCHA Officials Training Camp.
