This week's Players of the Week honors go to: Michigan State junior forward Justin Abdelkader (Offensive), Michigan junior defenseman Mark Mitera (Defensive), Western Michigan sophomore goaltender Riley Gill (Goaltender) and Miami freshman forward Andy Miele (Rookie).

Offensive

Justin Abdelkader, MSU
Jr., F (Muskegon, MI)

Abdelkader (3-1-4, +6) notched his first career hat trick to go with an assist in Friday's 6-3 win over BGSU and added another helper in Saturday's 4-0 road win over the Falcons.

Defenseman

Mark Mitera, UM
Jr., (Livonia, MI)

Mitera (0-4-4, +4), who finished +24 on the season, tied a career high with three assists in Friday's 5-3 win over FSU, set up another goal in Saturday's overtime loss and blocked eight shots in the series.

Goaltender

Riley Gill, WMU
So., (Northfield, MN)

Gill stopped 78-of-81 shots in a weekend split with Notre Dame, including 42 on Friday for his first shutout of the season and fifth of his career.

Rookie

Andy Miele, MIA
F, (Grosse Pointe Woods, MI)

Miele (1-3-4, +4) assisted on the winning goal in the RedHawks' 2-1 road win over OSU on Tuesday before collecting a goal and two assists in Friday's 4-3 home-ice victory over the Buckeyes.
