This week's Players of the Week honors go to: Ohio State senior forward Tommy Goebel (Offensive), Notre Dame senior defenseman Brock Sheahan (Defensive), Michigan State junior goaltender Jeff Lerg (Goaltender) and Notre Dame freshman forward Ben Ryan (Rookie).

Offensive

Tommy Goebel, OSU
Sr., F (Parma, OH)

Goebel produced four goals and an assist while going +3 and being named a game star each night as the Buckeyes split a pair of games at Lake Superior State.

Defenseman

Brock Sheahan, ND
Sr., (Lethbridge, AB)

Sheahan earned an assist each game, was +3 for the series with three blocked shots and helped the Irish penalty-killing unit go a perfect 12-for-12 in a sweep of Bowling Green.

Goaltender

Jeff Lerg MSU
Jr., (Livonia, MI)

Lerg blocked 55-of-57 shots (.965) and was the first star each night as the Spartans defeated and tied No. 1 Michigan.

Rookie

Ben Ryan, ND
F, (Brighton, MI)

Ryan set up a goal in Friday's home-ice win before earning first-star honors on Saturday with two goals and an assist in a 4-1 victory over Bowling Green that clinched a weekend sweep.
