The fourth annual CCHA "Road to the Joe" tour, a combined marketing effort of the Central Collegiate Hockey Association and Olympia Entertainment, made its third stop on the CCHA arena circuit Jan. 17 in East Lansing, Mich.

Michigan and Michigan State fans had an opportunity to check out the Mason Cup Playoff Championship Trophy, get information on CCHA Championship Weekend March 17-18, 2006 and enter to win tickets to the CCHA Championship and a one-night stay at the Detroit Marriott Renaissance Center.
Congratulations goes to Stacy Velmer from East Lansing, Mich. who was the winner of the CCHA Road to the Joe tour contest at MSU.

Michigan State shut out the Wolverines at Munn Ice Arena, 2-0, Tuesday night. Michigan and Michigan State fans were able to enter to win tickets to the CCHA Championship and a one-night stay at the Detroit Marriott Renaissance Center. Sparty stopped by to see the Mason Cup. The CCHA Playoff Championship trophy was named after Michigan State athletics director, and former hockey coach, Ron Mason.

The Michigan Wolverines roster includes nine NHL draft picks. Tuesday night's game was also on FSN Detroit. Fans were able to get a photo with the Mason Cup courtesy of the Michigan Education Savings Program.

This family of Wolverine fans hope to see Michigan bounce back from a 2-0 loss to MSU this weekend against the Bowling Green Falcons.
