This week's Players of the Week honors go to: Miami sophomore forward Jarod Palmer (Offensive), Miami junior defenseman Ray Eichenlaub (Defensive), Michigan junior goaltender Billy Sauer (Goaltender) and Ferris State freshman forward Mike Fillinger (Rookie).

Offensive

Jarod Palmer, MIA
So., F (Fridley, MN)

Palmer had an assist and scored in overtime against St. Cloud before notching a shorthanded goal versus OSU in the Ohio Hockey Classic championship game to earn MVP honors.

Defenseman

Ray Eichenlaub, MIA
Jr., (Wilmette, IL)

Eichenlaub recorded a +3 rating with an assist on a shorthanded goal, two blocked shots and three shots on goal as the RedHawks captured the Ohio Hockey Classic championship.

Goaltender

Billy Sauer, UM
Jr., (Walworth, NY)

Sauer stopped all 87 shots he faced in victories over Providence and Michigan Tech to claim MVP honors as the Wolverines won the GLI for the first time since 1996.

Rookie

Mike Fillinger, FSU
F, (Grand Ledge, MI)

Fillinger earned All-Tournament team honors at the UConn Classic with the game-winning goal against Brown in a 2-1 decision and an assist in the championship-game victory over Connecticut.
