Boys and girls ages 5-11 are getting the chance to learn to play hockey for free in CCHA member school locations as well as local arenas throughout the state of Michigan between December and February as part of the Hockey Day in Michigan celebration. An hour of group and one-on-one ice drills teaching the fundamentals of the game sent participants home with big smiles and an urge to continue to play the game that over 70,000 players in Michigan are already playing.
